Gambling:
Prov. 28:8 …20….Isaiah 10:1,2 …I Tim.
6:9,10
Exodus 20:17..Thou shalt not covet..
Gambling is not acting on faith, nor is gambling simply
taking a risk…gambling is taking an artificial risk for
hope of excessive gain far beyond what investment of
time, money or skill would justify.

The Ten
Commandments:
By David Carr
The battle
over the Ten Commandments is not finished in Kentucky. The
case before the Supreme Court dealt with the Preliminary
Injunction Stage and concentrated solely on the prior
history of the case and did not set a clear ruling.
The Ten Commandment display which was part of the
Foundations of American law and Government display that was
defended by Liberty Counsel has never been to trial.
There has been no final ruling on this matter.
In fact, Liberty Counsel successfully defended the exact
same display in Mercer County, Kentucky. Liberty Counsel
also successfully defended the same display in Elkhart
County, Indiana before the Federal Court of Appeals against
the ACLU. Mathew Staver of Liberty Counsel informed me that
the ACLU has decided not to ask the Supreme Court to hear
that case. Why is that? Because once you get past the
prior history the Supreme Court focused on in McCreary and
Pulaski Counties, the display
itself is constitutional.
The decision of the Supreme Court was
certainly not very “resounding” but … The ruling was a
narrow 5-4 decision. The Texas case was a 4-1-4 decision,
and thus there was no majority opinion in that
case. The ruling has confused both sides! One thing
we know is the Court also
ruled the past will not always dictate the present,
so the battle isn’t over unless the counties want it to
be over. It is of utmost importance we
show our appreciation for the outstanding performance of
Liberty Counsel by contributing to their organization. Even
though Liberty Counsel donates their time, that doesn’t
cover the out of pocket costs of filing briefs pertinent to
the cause. The printing cost of filing the initial petition
tallied almost $10,000. That expense was paid
to a third party printer. There are many of us who
appreciate Liberty Counsel’s leadership as their labor is
definitely worthy of support!” The Ten Commandment
Advancement Fund is dedicated to provide education and
support to those who are standing for our American Heritage.
The trip to the Supreme Court, the symposiums, seminars,
banquets and rallies which included thousands of people have
helped produce a Court of Public Opinion
that has helped educate the public and bring this battle to
the highest Court! …
the battle isn’t over!

Verse of the day:
Matthew 6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
